We look forward to seeing you at our 2024-2025 Back to School Night! On August 13th you may bring your school supplies anytime between 5:00-6:00 in your classroom and meet your teacher. The Bash will officially start at 5:30 on our playground and will include inflatables, music, food trucks and more!!
To make this event a success and a fun time for all we need some of our awesome High Point family members to step up and help out. Please consider signing up to volunteer for a 30–45-minute shift. Your shift will be quick and easy, and you'll still be able to spend time with your family during the bash too. https://www.signupgenius.com/.../10C0549A9A923A4FF2...
Lastly, all is planned and ready to go for our bash, but we are looking for someone to co-chair to assist this year and learn the ropes. Basically, for this year you'd just be at the bash to assist and shadow the current committee chair. Then eventually take over the committee in the future. This is a GREAT way to get involved and an easy one to eventually take the lead on. Please reach out to Jen Mirlisena at hpptasocialsecretary@gmail.com if you have any interest or would like to learn more about the position.

MONTHLY MEETINGS: PTA Meetings are the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm in the High Point Library starting September 10th. This is a great way to get involved and meet families, we would love to see you there!

Safety
As the new school year approaches, it’s more important than ever to remember to secure all firearms in your homes and vehicles, and to ask about the presence of unsecured guns in homes or vehicles where your kids will be.
Please strengthen these practices by teaching your kids age appropriate gun safety behaviors - never to touch a gun and to alert an adult immediately if one is found, and discuss how to get out of an unsafe situation. Visit BeSMARTForKids.org for more information on safe storage practices. Thanks for keeping our community safe!
