Doc Talk
Wow! We are at the end of week four! It is hard to believe that we will be ending our first grading period in the next two weeks. Please make sure that you are on track as we begin to wrap up the hexter.
Next week, we have our "Let's Taco 'Bout It" event on Thursday night. Please make sure that you have RSVP'd, so that we have enough food for everyone to eat! All are welcome to participate as we will be sharing vital information on the status and progress of Discovery High School.
Hexter 2 Orientation is Tuesday, September 17th. This is for incoming students that are starting Foundations in hexter 2.
We are off to a great start to the school year! We are looking forward to the next big things we have in store for everyone!

Students in Ms. Hagmaier's Career Development class went over to Widefield to help Ms. Betsy clean up the kitchen after lunch! We love you Ms. Betsy!

On Friday, students went to the Colorado Springs K9 Unit!
Yearbook Corner
The yearbook crew is setting up for school announcements on video! They will be practicing using video equipment such as back drops, special lighting, and microphones. Check out a blooper from practice by following the YouTube link above!
Mrs. Thomas' Technology Class
Students in Mrs. Thomas' technology class are building rollercoasters! They must have loops and can only use paper and tape. There are certain requirements for length and width and they must be able to roll a marble through the loop successfully. This project aims to help students practice creating experiments and write about them in a constructive analysis.
