Dear Parents/Guardians,
This letter is to inform you that there will be a change in START & END times for Infinity Early College H.S. The change will take place at the beginning of semester 2 , Tuesday, January 5, 2021. As a result of this change, IECHS will benefit from a more cohesive alignment with LoneStar College class times. We are SUPER excited about this positive change, as it provides more course elective options for our students.
BUILDING TIMES:
IECHS will open doors at 7:40 a.m. for all students. *please note, building times could change next school year
*Breakfast will be served from 7:40 a.m. -7:59 a.m.
*As a reminder, breakfast and lunch are FREE to ALL students this COVID year.
IECHS will close doors PROMPTLY at 4:00 p.m.
*We will continue to stagger release at the end of day, so students are released starting at 3:50 p.m.
TRANSPORTATION:
BUS RIDERS: All students that currently ride a school bus will have an adjustment in pick-up and return times to their “Bus HUBs.” The Transportation Department will distribute the updated “TIME” information to each student prior to the winter break. *The “shift” in times will be a minimal change. *In addition, on January 4th, the transportation department will answer phone calls about HUBS, bus routes, pick-up/drop-off times for all NCISD students. CAR RIDERS: As we requested at the beginning of the year, we strongly encourage all students that are car riders to be picked up expeditiously for safety reasons. With the change in start/end times, we are asking drivers to pick up their students by 4:15 p.m. Anyone that can not be picked up at 4:15 p.m. should make arrangements to ride the bus. Thank you in advance for making arrangements to make this happen. Everyone that has been a car rider this semester has been AMAZING at picking up students in a timely manner. THANK YOU!
Thank you for making accommodations for the change in start and end times. While we are aware that a mid-year change is an inconvenience to some, it is our hope that you understand that every decision is putting what’s BEST for IECHS STUDENTS- FIRST!!!
