May 8- High School Graduation Ceremony 7:00 PM
May 9- K-11 Grades due
May 16- Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony, 4:00 pm
May 21- End of fourth quarter, classes end
May 26- Memorial Day - offices closed
Academic Policy Committee Election
The steps to become an APC candidate for 2025 election are as follows:
To become a candidate for election for the parent, student, or the higher education representative seats, one must inform the election committee by emailing a brief statement of interest to Frontier Charter School Administrative Assistant Carli Hook at <hook_carli@asdk12.org>. This email must be received by 11:59 p.m., May 5, 2025.

ELECTION TIMELINE
MAY 5 The applicant’s Statement of Interest must be received by Frontier Charter School no later than May 5, 2025.
MAY 9 Voting begins. Frontier Charter School will distribute ballots by email, during May 9, 2025.
JUNE 2 Send your completed ballot by e-mail to Carli Hook at <hook_carli@asdk12.org> by 11:59 p.m., June 2, 2025.
JUNE 3 The votes will be counted and the candidates will be informed of the election results on June 3, 2025. The election committee report will be kept at the school office and made available for review.

Planning For Next Year
You are welcome to start planning for the 25/26 school year. Here a a few things you can do now to make for a smooth transition to the next year:
1. Re-enroll in SALTT.
2. Register returning students in Parent Connect beginning April 24th.
3. Research curriculum and classes. Be sure to visit our bookroom!
4. Build new ILPs. Make sure to change the school year at the top left of the screen before you start this step. See image below.
5. Put in new orders to go with your ILPs. Remember, our fiscal year starts July 1st. No orders will be processed before this date.
mCLASS, K-3rd
mCLASS for grades K-3 will be proctored in our office beginning the week of April 21st. This is a SHORT assessment done one-on-one with an advisor. It should only take 10-15 minutes for grades K-1 and 20-30 minutes for 2nd and 3rd-grade students.
