The Weekly Update #4
August 1st, 2024
A Note From the Principal
We are busy getting ready to welcome our students on the First Day of School, August 14. We have many wonderful events in the next 2 weeks we hope you will join us.
We are excited to announce our 24-25 school year theme, "Level Up," which is all about encouraging our students to reach new heights in both their academic achievements and personal growth. Just like in a video game where players advance to higher levels through skill and perseverance, we believe that every student has the potential to elevate their abilities and character. We have so many fun things planned for the year and you will see our theme showing up in various ways throughout the school year.
Are you ready to "Level Up" for the new year?

BFA's Guiding Principles
Mission:
Our mission is to create young adults with character like America's founding Renaissance man, Benjamin Franklin: well-read, scientifically curious, and civically engaged.
Vision:
Our students will excel academically through a challenging, sequenced curriculum that emphasizes math, science, the arts, and literacy. We will be a data-driven institution, focusing on individual students. Our students, teachers, parents, staff, and leaders will be held accountable for the success of our school. Finally, we recognize that an education is incomplete without fostering social emotional development, character, sports, and nature.
13 Virtues:
Temperance, Silence, Order, Resolution, Frugality, Industry, Sincerity, Justice, Moderation, Cleanliness, Tranquility, Purity and Humility.
