Dear St. Clare Families,

Please check your calendars for the following important dates. Most importantly, please prepare your enrollment and registration paperwork for the 2024-2025 school year. Your decision and the timing of your enrollment is a critical component of our success and planning for 2024-2025. This time of year, my homework is based on your decisions so that I can properly budget, plan for staffing needs, and coordinate curriculum purchase orders.We can only be successful as a school because of your commitment to a faith-filled and value based education.

If you have any questions or concerns about your decision for next year, please let me know. I would be happy to sit down and discuss your options with you. We offer a variety of different ways to reduce the cost of tuition from Parish involvement, referral credits, multi-child discounts, and tuition assistance. The other major way to impact your tuition is to apply for the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program. Please see more information below about eligibility requirements in this process.

St. Clare School is truly a special place to learn, work, and be each and every day. Being your Principal is one of the greatest blessings in my life and I am forever grateful for your trust in our fantastic school.

Wisconsin Parental Choice Program Open Forum at the beginning of the January and March Board Meetings.

Please attend and bring any questions you have about this fantastic opportunity for families and our school.

Early Release Date: Students will dismiss at 11:25am with the bus departing at 11:30am.

Tickets are still available directly through the Green Bay Gamblers and can be picked up at Will Call. However, ordering through the school office is now closed. Thank you for your support. Mr. Brauer and I are excited to see you there.

Open House at St. Clare School from 11-Noon

Pasta Luncheon from 11am-1pm

All students are guaranteed to earn 1 free book from our Book Blast Campaign. Students can earn additional books (up to 10/student) based on family contributions and donations. Any overages donated will be reinvested into the teacher's classroom library's and provide incredible literacy support for all of our students. Watch for your classroom newsletters to learn more about this great opportunity.

Books are anticipated to be delivered in time for our Read Across America Week. A few lucky St. Clare students will earn the treasure boxes, cash prizes, and ONE lucky student will win a new iPad!

The Wrightstown Community School District does NOT have school on Friday, February 2nd. However, St. Clare Catholic School is scheduled to be in session that day. It is the Friday of Catholic Schools Week and we have our fun family day at Rock K Ranch planned. Please be aware of the following details:

1. First Student bussing will be in route as normal for arrival to school.

2. For Dismissal, we need to provide First Student with a list of students who intend to return to school from Rock K Ranch and dismiss on the bus at usual time. Please be sure to communicate with the school office team (send the permission slip form back to Mrs. Lea Verbeten-Minor or email questions to stclareschool@stclareagw.org) about your intentions regarding dismissal that day. The bussing will run as normal, but we need to adjust the roster of students if you are planning to pick them up early, instead.

A sign-up for Parent Teacher Conferences will be shared at a later date. Please watch for more communication through the weekly Principal Newsletter.

Logistics about the trip to Ski Brule are in the works with a family who has graciously stepped forward to lead that opportunity for Parish, School, and Community members who are interested in participating. Due to insurance liability reasons and bussing costs the Parish & School will no longer be organizing it. More logistics about how you can reach out to them will be shared at a later date.
