IT'S TIME FOR THE PMES GOT SNEAKERS? GRADE LEVEL COMPETITION! Our campaign will kick off on Monday, March 10th! Clean out your closets and donate your used athletic shoes to PMES. Got Sneakers? will compensate PMES for all donated athletic shoes.
Collection bins will be set out starting Monday, March 10th and will be found in the hallway near the nurse's office. Collections will be held through Friday, April 18th.
To make it even more fun, we are holding a friendly grade level competition to see who can donate the most shoes. Each Thursday, we will gather up collections and post the standings on Facebook and the Friday morning announcements. The winning grade level will receive a popsicle party!
All compensation we receive from Got Sneakers? will go toward the PMES PE program.

Looking to get more involved in PTA? Want to get out of the house and get to know some other PMES parents? Want to hear the latest about our spring events? Join the PTA Board members as we walk the lower track and get to know each other. Members of our board would love to get to know you and your family and help get you plugged in to our school and ways to get involved (if you so choose-attending this event places no obligation on your part!). Join us on Wednesday, March 19th at 9:30am at the lower playground track. We'd love to see you there!
Calling all Dads! Our Dads on Duty Breakfast will be held NEXT WEEK on Wednesday, March 12th and Thursday, March 13th. This event is not grade specific, so feel free to choose the date which works best for your family. We will have pre-orders for Chick-Fil-A breakfast and a special speaker-former Olympic and World Champion swimmer, Edgar Crespo! Doors will open at 7am and the event will conclude at 7:45 in order for students to head to class. The event will be free to attend, but all food will be PRE-ORDER ONLY and will NOT be sold at the event. Breakfast orders must be placed by Monday, March 10th at 2pm. PMES will be celebrating World Down Syndrome Day on Friday, March 21st! We will be holding a coloring contest for students to "Rock Your Socks." Teachers will be distributing a coloring page to each student the week of March 10th. Completed coloring pages can be turned in and entered for a grade level contest to win a coupon for a free ice cream at lunch. Entries should be turned in at the front desk by March 18th and winners will be announced on the morning announcements on March 21st. There will be 5 winners per grade level. Winners will be announced on the morning announcements. And don't forget to rock your socks that Friday to show your support!
