Grateful to NEF: The most recent Naperville North Star’s NOW production features new microphones that modernized our recording and production, enabling our students to practice their skills with professional-grade tools and software compatibility. Senior Celebration: Attention Senior Families! Get ready for the ultimate Senior Celebration on Saturday, April 6th! It's going to be an epic party exclusively for seniors. Indulge in unlimited food, win fantastic prizes, dive into interactive games, groove to the beats of our DJ, belt out your favorite tunes at karaoke, and even pamper yourself with hair or nail services – plus much more! All activities are included in the ticket price.

Senior Parents, we also need your PICTURES for Memory Hallway and Huskie Hallway!
The Memory Hallway committee is accepting pictures February 26th - March 22nd. There will be a box in the main entrance of NNHS on the windowsill across from the campus supervisor desk to drop all pictures mentioned below. What do we need?
(A) We need THREE pictures of EACH SENIOR for this photographic journey down memory lane. Don’t let your student be left out! Submit 3 pictures of your student (one as a baby, one young child/elementary school, and one recent photo). Any size but no larger than 5 ”x 7”. Label the backs of the photos with your student’s name. A keepsake poster will be made by our committee for each student and they will get their keepsake poster at the end of the party in their check out bag. Please send the keepsake photos in one envelope, labeled “keepsake” along with the student’s name to the box mentioned above by March 22nd.
(B) We need group pictures (printed copies - they will not be returned) of kids together in preschool through 8th grade. Please label the school on the back of the photo. Please drop the group photos in a separate envelope labeled “group photos'' along with the student's name to the box in the NNHS front entrance by March 22nd.
Have you sent pictures for the “Huskie Hallway?” The Huskie Hallway displays MANY photos of NNHS Seniors from the Class of 2024. These pictures are from school sponsored activities during their senior year of 2023-2024.
Our Challenge? Representing ALL Seniors and ALL Activities! We rely on you, family and friends, to send PRINTED photos, size 4”x6”, any paper is accepted. Please indicate the club, sport or event on the back of the picture and name of the students in the photo. These photos will NOT be returned. Place your photos in an envelope marked “Huskie Hallway” in the box found inside the NNHS Main Entrance Doors by the Campus Supervisors’ desk. Questions, contact Carrie Schrock carrieschrock71@gmail.com. If it is more convenient, you may drop them at my house near Hobson and Olesen. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to drop the photos to my home. Deadline for submitting photos is 3/19/24.
Huskie Preschool: Naperville North's Huskie Preschool has openings in the morning session this semester! The morning preschool meets every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday during periods 3 and 4. Children ages 2.5-5 (must be potty-trained) can attend. 2024 National German Exam Results: The National German Exam is a test of authentic listening, viewing and reading skills taken nationwide by students in German 2, 3, and 4. Keeping with tradition, our North students had another outstanding performance on this year’s exam! Great work, Huskies! Let’s celebrate their achievement!
- 8 students earned Gold recognition; 90th+ percentile nationally
- 7 students earned Silver; 80th - 89th Percentile nationally
- 2 students earned Bronze; 70th - 79th Percentile nationally
- 13 students earned Achievement awards; 50th - 69th Percentile nationally

SAT Tutoring Program at NNHS: Calling all Juniors! SAT tutoring is now available for all Huskie Juniors from February 20 - April 9th in the Learning Commons Glass Classroom. For more information and to sign-up, please visit this link.
Blood Drive: On Thursday, February 29th, NNHS Student Government is holding its annual Winter Blood Drive in the field house from 8 AM - 1:30 PM. All students that are 16 years of age may donate blood by providing a parental consent form provided by the Student Activities office or a Student Government representative. All students who are 17 years old can donate without the form. This blood drive is open to all Huskie relatives and neighbors.
Should outside folks wish to donate, please enter through Door #1, check-in with our Campus Supervisors, and present a valid state ID. You may sign- up for the blood drive here: https://forms.gle/NC7MmRtLR95DpCiU8

- NNHS 2024 Winter Blood Drive needs your help February 29th! We need 3 volunteers for both time slots to check in students who would like to donate blood. Student government is organizing and running everything else! Blood Drive Volunteers
- Staff Breakfast March 7th - Donations needed. NNHS Staff Breakfast Committee needs your help gathering donations for the upcoming staff breakfast, during March Parent Teacher Conferences! Please review the needed items below and sign up where you can by Monday, March 4th. Hackathon: Announcing Hack For The World 2024, a free, 12-hour, in-person hackathon at NNHS on Saturday, March 2nd. All area high school students are invited to attend, no experience necessary! There will be prizes, workshops, mentoring, food, and much more. Learn more and register in advance at www.hackforthe.world. Hurray for Hollywood - Senior Fashion Show is March 3, 2024
You are invited to the Naperville North Booster Club Senior Fashion Show! Join us for an exciting showcase featuring over 100 senior models who will be wearing the latest fashions from local retailers!
- Date: Sunday, March 3rd, 2024
- Time: 3:00 PM - Doors open for raffles and concessions. Event Begins at 4:00 PM.
- Location: Naperville North High School
This event promises to be a celebration of style, creativity, and the graduating class of 2024! Proceeds benefit all students involved in activities and athletics at NNHS. VIP, general admission, and student tickets are available for purchase at NNHS Boosters Fashion Show.

Spanish National Honor Society (SNHS): We are now accepting digital applications!
Requirements for SNHS:
• Complete at least 3 semesters of Spanish at the high school level
• Maintain GPA of 3.75 while a member of SNHS and maintain GPA of 3.5 in Spanish
• Discipline and behavior in good standing at NNHS
• Must have Leadership and various Service activities
• Must be enrolled in a Spanish class in order to maintain SNHS status

5 Essentials Survey: Parents, we still need your participation as stakeholders at NNHS. The data we receive from the survey is incredibly beneficial in driving our school improvement goals for Naperville North. If we do not reach our 20% parent/guardian participation goal, we will not receive any school level results from the survey. Please help us reach this important goal before the deadline!
