Cowboy Divisional Playoffs

On Thursday, March 6th the Cowboys traveled to Sidney, MT to play the Lustre Christian Lions in the Class-C Divisional Tournament. At halftime the boys were down 54-20. The final score of the game was 83-30 Lustre winning.
The loss to the Lions put the Cowboys down a bracket to play the Circle Wildcats in a loser out game the next day.
Friday, March 7th, the Cowboys traveled back to Sidney to play the Circle Wildcats. The halftime score was 40-16 the Cowboys down. At halftime the Culbertson Cheerleaders performed their routine for the spectators; which was amazing. The Cowboys unfortunately were defeated with a final score of 65-37. The loss to the Circle Wildcats ended the Cowboy season.

The Cowboys and Cowgirls participated in their first meet was on Saturday, March 22nd, hosted by Scobey and Wolf Point at the Williston Arc.
The Men's team placed 1st with 82 team points.

Missoula Children's Theatre

On the week of Monday, March 10th- Friday, March 14th two of The Missoula Children's Theatre members traveled down to Culbertson to put on Hercules the musical. From Kindergarten to 8th grade, 49 students showed up on Monday to audition. 8th grader Emma Henry was given the role of Hercules. After a week of rehearsals the cast of Hercules was put on for the town of Culbertson. The first show on Friday was at 1 where the school traveled over to watch their classmates perform. The final performance was at 6:30.
- The average person's left hand does 56% of the typing (when using the proper position of the hands on the keyboard; Hunting and pecking doesn't count!).
- A shark is the only known fish that can blink with both eyes.
- The longest one-syllable words in the English language are "scraunched" and "strengthed." Some suggest that "squirreled" could be included, but squirrel is intended to be pronounced as two syllables (squir-rel) according to most dictionaries. "Screeched" and "strengths" are two other long one-syllable words, but they only have 9 letters.
- "Dreamt" is the only English word that ends in the letters "mt".
- Almonds are a member of the peach family.
- Maine is the only state that has a one-syllable name.
