We look forward to welcoming our students back to school on Wednesday, January 8th. You will also be able to view your child's report card on Wednesday through the Aeries Parent Portal. A district correspondence will be emailed to you with a detailed description of the report card. If you are in need of assistance accessing the portal, please contact the office.

School of Choice continues through the month of January and ends in early February. Included in this newsletter is information about Santa Susana, the general district enrollment process, TK enrollment, and middle school showcase information. If you know of anyone interested in enrolling at Santa Susana for the 25-26 school year, please encourage them to contact the office and set up a school tour.

Our office will be open this Monday afternoon and Tuesday if you are in need of assistance.

Every year at Santa Susana we use the Core Value program. We discuss a value each month and use this as part of our Student of the Month program. This month our value is RESILIENCE.

Dear Simi Valley Schools Families,

We are excited to inform you that our school district has an open enrollment policy that allows families to enroll their students at almost any of our schools through the School of Choice (SOC) application. Please note that the options at each school may be limited due to class size and available space.

Given that all of our schools offer exceptional programs, Simi Valley Schools students often choose to enroll at their neighborhood schools. If you enroll in your neighborhood school, you do not have to participate in SOC. This linked Boundary Map will assist you in identifying your neighborhood school.

Elementary Newsletter includes:

Information about our School of Choice applications can be found on the District’s website Enrollment and School of Choice. Applications must be submitted online by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025, to participate in the lottery held at each school, except for Hollow Hills and Vista Elementary Schools. Please see the Elementary Newsletter for additional information.
