Meadow Brook Parent Newsletter
April 2024
Our mission at MBI is to attend to and foster positive relationships with all stakeholders, ensure high levels of learning for all students, and show GRIT every day. We are looking forward to a successful and engaging second semester.

Bronco Leadership Code
Our Bronco Leadership Code is how we recognize our students each month at our GRIT assemblies. Each letter in LEADERSHIP stands for a trait we, as a district, strive to live out. April we are looking for INTEGRITY and will recognize students at our GRIT assemblies at the end of the month. Parents and families of students who are chosen will be contacted by their teachers and are invited to join us at these assemblies.

MBI 5th Grade Archery Going to Nationals!
Our 5th grade archery team made it to Nationals this year! They will be traveling to Louisville, Kentucky in May. If you or a business you know of would like to sponsor the team in some way, please reach out to Mr. Hasty or Mrs. Wiewel at hastyja@mustangps.org or wiewels@mustangps.org. Company sponsors will be featured on the student shirts they are wearing for competition!
Another way to support our archers is through two upcoming give back nights at restaurants! First, on April 17 is Freddy's night, then on April 22 is McAlister's night! Come eat dinner and the proceeds will go to funding our archery team's travel expenses!

Attendance is Important
Missing school adds up! Our goal is for all MBI students to achieve 95% attendance or higher in the 23-24 school year. We are half way through the year--where is your attendance rate currently sitting?
Parent Portal
Parent Portal is now open to students and parents! This is where you can check your student's grades and monitor their progress. Your student can log in using their Chromebook sign in credentials, or you can set up an account by emailing psppsupport@mustangps.org
