Hello Lester Families,

We have had a wonderful week at Lester! Our Student Council has started our "Pie in the Face" Fundraiser which will help local families over the holidays. In addition, we have our McTeacher Night coming up next Tuesday. We hope to see you there!

On Monday, we will honor Veterans through a variety of activities in our school. Students and staff are invited to wear red, white, &/or blue to honor our veterans. We want to thank all of our Lester community veterans for your service.

I wanted to share with you that unfortunately, I need to have surgery next Thursday. I will be out of the building for a couple of weeks depending on recovery. Lauri and the district office staff will be available to support needs as they arise in my absence. You will continue to receive my weekly newsletter and while I will begin responding to emails as soon as I am able to, during this time if you have a question, concern or need assistance please reach out to Lauri at lsmith@dg58.org. Once I am back in the building after recovery, I will share that information with you as well.

I appreciate your understanding and support while I am out and will miss seeing your students each day!
