Dear Swift-Slaybaugh Families,
We are currently full steam ahead in planning for our children to arrive to the Swift-Slaybaugh Complex on Wednesday. We have been busy all summer moving, cleaning and organizing. Over 25 staff members packed up their classrooms and moved to new assignments in order to make this complex a reality. Our current make-up is as follows: Slaybaugh Primary- Preschool, Swift School-Grades K and 1, and Slaybaugh Elementary - Grades 2 and 3. A big thank you to all of our teachers, secretaries, custodians and facilities. In addition, kudos to our: Interim Administrator, Joetta Surace, Rachel Casumpang, Assistant Principal, and Facilitating Teacher, Lynda Carty for their assistance in making sure all is ready to welcome our students.
As we open 2021-22 school year, we would like you to be aware of the following:
- Children must wear a mask on the bus and in school
- If you would like your child to participate in Parent Pick-up, you must submit a written note, as a result, your child will not ride the bus.
- Remind your child to social distance, wash their hands frequently, and do not share food
- Feel free to send a water bottle in with your child, the water fountains and filling stations will be disabled.
- There will be no charge for student breakfast or lunch; however, feel free to pack your child a lunch if they choose not to eat the school provided meal.
- Please send in the signed Parent/Student Health Affirmation Form with your child
