Halloween and Parade Information
It's almost time for our little ghouls and goblins to walk the halls in their spooky Halloween costumes! Please help us keep things safe and fun for all students when preparing your child's costume. Here are our guidelines:
- masks will only be worn during the parade but will stay in the locker for regular class time
- please ensure masks are not too scary/grotesque for our youngest students
- please leave weapons at home
On Wednesday, October 30 at 1:15 p.m. our Kindergarten Group A class will tour the school and show off their costumes as they celebrate Halloween a day early at school.
On Thursday, October 31 at 1:15 p.m. we will kick off our Halloween celebrations with a snake parade. Students will wander throughout the school picking up other classes along the way. Families are welcome to line our hallways to watch the snake parade. Following the parade, students will return to their classrooms to participate in a variety of Halloween themed activities.
Hot Lunch
The Woodbridge Parent Association and team of dedicated volunteers help coordinate and run our Hot Lunch program. All Hot Lunch orders will be communicated to families via the school weekly newsletter and on the school's website. Orders can be placed using the Munch-a-lunch platform.
We are always looking for volunteers to help and generally need about 12 volunteers for an hour for each Hot Lunch. It is a great way to help out in the school. If you are interested, please can sign up here.
Please review the FAQ document for setup info. If you have any additional questions please email wbfpa.hotlunch@gmail.com.
