Principal's Message
Rewards
This year we have worked hard to develop meaningful rewards for student who consistently show what wonderful humans they are! One such reward students can earn is to Silly String Streeter. Friday was the day. The pictured students each emptied their own silly string can on me. It is just one of the highlights of the week. We LOVE when students earn rewards. It brings joy and many times laughter to us all.
Here are just some of the rewards students can earn:
Cougar Cards are used to purchase all kinds of fidgets or toys from out student store
Reading Counts Points earn students tokens to our book vending machine
Students with no more than one classroom accountability slip for the quarter earn entry to our TNT (Total Nonsense Time) assembly. This assembly is filled with games and nonsense and we love every minute.
Please take a moment to remind your children that we appreciate their hard work and when they earn rewards we love it just as much as they do!
Thanks Cougars for being SO amazing!
Safety
Restroom Safety
Recently we have had a problem with our intermediate boys restrooms. Students have broken 8 soap dispensers. First of all, we expect our students to treat our school with respect. Secondly, this creates an unhealthy environment where students are unable to wash their hands properly. Please remind your students to treat our space as they would want their space treated, and if they see something, please encourage them to tell you or another trusted adult so we can address those causing the damage.
