Dear Dragon Families,

As we approach Thanksgiving, I am reminded how much I appreciate the opportunity to serve as the DeLong Elementary principal. It warms my heart each day as I see smiles on the Blazing Dragon faces. They bring so much fun to each of us. Thank you for sending your child to school with us. It is important to find moments of appreciation and gratitude. I am appreciative of our school staff for their hard work and dedication to student learning and the love they have for our kids. I am appreciative of our community and families who team with us at school to help support students. During this holiday season, I encourage all to share appreciation moments with one another. Every day, we should find the time to celebrate the amazing work all the DeLong students do and the hard work they put in to increase their own learning. The Dragon Den is committed to continuing this focus and supporting our families during the school day and beyond. Take care, rest up and having a wonderful break.
