Dear Cedars Families,
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and partnership. Together, we are creating a nurturing environment where our students can grow, learn, and thrive.
Thank you for trusting us with your children and for the many ways you contribute to our school community. Whether through your involvement in activities, encouragement at home, or kindness in everyday interactions, you are an essential part of our success.
Our basketball season is officially underway! We’re thrilled to have Coach Cyphers and Coach Brown leading the girls' and boys' teams this season. We hope Security Officer Robert returns to support the basketball teams as well. A full schedule is available on the school website and in the November Cedars E-News.
On Wednesday, we will be celebrating our outstanding Education Support Professionals! Please join me in honoring Borrego, Cyphers, Jaimes, Johnson, Lopez, and Vasquez-Wells. These individuals are vital members of our school community. Whether supporting students in the classroom, stepping in as substitutes, assisting teachers, helping in the cafeteria, or offering a kind word, their contributions are truly invaluable. We warmly invite family and friends to join us for our 15th Annual Thanksgiving Feast on Friday, November 22, 2024, during lunch service. Families should check in at the front office before entering the cafeteria or classroom.

Thanksgiving Meal prices:
Adult (non-staff member) $7.00
Sibling (Child Not A Cedars Student) $3.75
Friday is an early release day, with dismissal at 12:30 pm. There will be no aftercare; all students must be picked up by 1:00 pm.
Students return from Thanksgiving Break on Monday, December 2, 2024.

Classroom Group Pictures are on Thursday, November 7, 2024. Students can dress up on picture day and do not have to come in uniform.
Fall Picture Retakes and Sports (Vollyeball and Basketball) Picture Day are on Friday, November 15, 2024. Students can dress up on picture day and do not have to come in uniform.
