Grade Level Announcements
Shoutout Band and Choir!
The 8th grade team is incredibly proud of our Choir and Band performances at their respective festivals. The students are abuzz with their accomplishments. We are lucky to have such great arts programs at our Middle School! Both groups earned the right to go to the States!
- The Middle School Choir will attend the State Festival on May 5 or 6 at Saginaw Valley.
- State Band Festival will most likely be May 2 or May 3 in Elk Rapids. More information will come out mid-late April
Help Needed - Career Day
We are hosting our annual Career Day on Friday April 25th, 2025. The 8th grade will be participating in a simulation regarding personal finance.
BUT WE NEED PRESENTERS FROM VARIOUS CAREER FIELDS FOR THE 6TH AND 7TH GRADES! As a presenter in the Middle School you will be placed into a classroom, where students will rotate from room to room. When students are visiting you in the classroom you will be given the time to share all the cool and exciting things people should know about your career!
Please fill in this survey to let Mrs. Bradford you are able to help us out!

HELP NEEDED - CONCESSIONS VOLUNTEERS AND BAKE SALE CONTRIBUTIONS
8th Grade Parents,
We need your help!
To support our upcoming Step Up Dance, we are raising funds by selling concessions at the high school drama performances next weekend—and we’re adding a bake sale twist! This is a great opportunity for our 8th graders and their families to contribute while also getting a glimpse of the high school theater experience.
Performance Dates & Times:
• Friday, March 7: 7pm
• Saturday, March 8: 2pm & 7pm
How You Can Help:
1. Volunteer at the Concession Stand: We need both students and parents to help run the concession stand during these shows. Shifts will start 1/2 hour before the performance.
2. Bake Sale Contributions: We are also asking for individually wrapped, homemade baked goods provided by our 8th graders. Whether it’s cookies, brownies, or cupcakes, your contributions will help make the bake sale a delicious success! Baked goods will need to be dropped off by the end of day Friday at the middle school office.
Every bit of support brings us closer to making the Step Up Dance a fantastic event. Please sign up for a volunteer shift and let us know if you can contribute baked goods by texting Stephanie Fabatz @ 231-645-1468 or Amy Schichtel @231-649-0415.
Thank you for your enthusiasm and support.
