Email - kcoleman@scwhitmoreschool.orgImportant Note: Students who do not participate in the required state testing will face disciplinary action and will not be eligible to re-enroll in SC Whitmore School. Testing windows, including those for End of Course Exams, are set by the state. To fill the gap between when a student finishes and EOC course and the test date, we have EOC Prep courses for Algebra and Biology. Teachers of English 2 and US History send exam review videos and other test prep material.
We are gearing up for EOCs for course completers and December graduates! As soon as we're done with Fall WIN, SCWS School Testing Coordinator, Katie Coleman (kcoleman@scwhitmoreschool.org) will start sending out information about EOCs.
We will be offering an ASVAB at the Columbia office in November for any students who still need CCR after this WIN administration or who are interested in military service.
Teachers will begin identifying students who are taking December and January EOCs in November. Information and Google Calendar invites will come shortly after.
- WIN will take place in the Midlands, Lowcountry, and Upstate with parent choice of testing location the week of October 28. More information to come for those who need to test. *If a student misses their scheduled WIN test, they will have to come to Columbia November 8 to take a make up test.
- Pre-ACT will be held November 19 at Columbia office for those who registered.
- Students taking English II, Biology I, US History, or Algebra I this semester will take an EOC (end-of-course exam) which will count as 20% of their final grade. Application Requirement Updates at Queens
Hello,
In the wake of recent natural disasters that have had catastrophic effects across our region, we understand how challenging this time may be, and want to make the college application process as easy as possible for students.
At Queens, weβve adjusted our application requirements in the following ways:
- Weβre now accepting unofficial and self-reported grades (pictures or screenshots transcripts are acceptable).
- The essay is now an optional part of our application process.
We hope these changes help to make the application process more accessible. As always, our admissions team is here if you have any questions or need support.
