Downingtown Cyber Academy Update

Dear DCA Families,

We can't believe that the end of the 2023-2024 school year is upon us in just a few days! However, we still have work to do! Our DCA Seniors will soon graduate at their home school ceremonies next week. Kudos to each of our seniors for accomplishing this milestone. We wish you the very best in your next chapter!

Teachers are working diligently to ensure that all students have the opportunity to submit missing work. Students and families, please communicate with your teachers about missing assignments and work to get them submitted on time. Send an email to let your teachers know that you have submitted late assignments.

Please be sure to note important dates below and reach out to us if you have any questions. Enjoy the last weekend before the last week of school!

Calendar items for Grades 6-12

6/4 - STEM graduation/Last day of school for DCA/BVA Kindergarten-5th graders
6/5 - DHSE graduation
6/6 - DHSW graduation/Last day of school for 6th-11th graders/DCA 4th and 8th graders return devices to home buildings
6/10 - Report cards posted in the Infinite Campus Backpack

Important Information

June 6th - Device Return

On June 6th, all DCA 4th and 8th graders must return their devices and chargers to their home school. If parents cannot return the device on this day, please contact the main office to schedule an alternative drop-off.

DASD Summer Reading Lists for Students Entering Grades 6-12

The DASD Summer Reading lists are offered as a way to help strengthen reading skills, review the prior year's academic standards and skills, while providing students with an introduction to concepts that will be introduced in the next school year. Most of the work is optional.

Books can be either purchased or your student can visit the Chester County Library or Mackinvia for access to free books. User experience with these websites may vary depending upon the device being used.
