Hello Team Bridgetown!
Next week, we’ll be exploring gravity! Students will work on their graphing skills to understand how mass and distance affect gravity. They'll wrap up the week by using what they've learned in a jump lab, where they’ll calculate their weight on different celestial bodies due Fri 1/31
There’s also a homework assignment on Canvas titled “HW - Star Systems and Galaxies,” which is due Tuesday, 1/28. You can find it under the Modules section for the week.
Additionally, we’ll kick off our Term 3 roots next week and end the week with our first Roots quiz of the year on Friday. The roots for next week are:
angle = corner, point of view (e.g., triangle, quadrangle)
mega = large, million (e.g., megalosaurus, megabyte)
deci = 1/10 or .1 (e.g., deciliter, decimal)
semi = half (e.g., semicolon, semicircle)
