November's Character Trait
Every month Valley has been working with students to learn character traits to help them be better students, friends, and people. Over the past three months we have worked on: Respect, Self-Control, and Responsibility. November's character trait is Gratitude.
Gratitude is a feeling of being thankful and appreciative for the good things and people in your life. Every week Mrs. Scott and the staff go over what makes the character trait so important to becoming a wonderful, well-rounded person. They discuss ways they can exhibit gratitude and appreciation while also behaving in a manner friends and others can be grateful towards.
We are so proud of all the hard work our students have put in every month to show us their best character traits.
DJ for a day! 🎤🎧🎤
Henley C. was DJ for a day on Friday! She saved up her behavioral Bulldog Bucks and bought a coupon to be DJ. All students are eligible to earn Bulldog Bucks based on their behavior. Every nine weeks VIES hosts a Bulldog Bucks Store day where students are able to come and shop for wonderful goodies, most of which has been donated by families. Mrs. Scott has contributed several coupons to the store such as: read to PreK, seat swap, hat day, no homework, and DJ for a day. Congratulations DJ Henley!
Bulldog Store
We would like to thank all of our families that have donated to the PBIS store. Students are excited to be able to spend their Bulldog Bucks they are earning during the second nine weeks. The second nine weeks PBIS store will be December 20, 2024. If you would still like to donate, please review the attached letter below.
