⭐ Congrats to Varsity and Freshman Football for a big wins over Edmond Memorial last week!

⭐DCHS had 5 seniors named as National Merit Semifinalists for their outstanding academic accomplishments! Those students are Tyler Afonien, Niyant Chandupatla, Jemay Leow, Emri Lindley, and Edward Ma. They are among some of the highest scoring students in the state of Oklahoma.

⭐ Congrats to Volleyball for their win over Edmond North on Tuesday!!

This year’s Homecoming parade will be September 26 at 5:30pm down Covell. Come show your Antler spirit by participating in our Mamma Mia parade! The Homecoming Carnival will take place directly afterwards. Floats will be $25. If you would like to have a float in the Parade, please fill out the sign up form found below! You can also find the Parade route below.

This year’s Homecoming Carnival will take place directly after the Parade on September 26 at Deer Creek High School. This Carnival is open to all of our Creek community! There will be food trucks, games, vendors, wing eating, dodgeball, and more! Links to be involved in games, vendors, and or the parade are located on @dcstuco’s Website!

If your student is taking concurrent classes this fall, then it is time to start paying for their concurrent fees. For UCO concurrent students, they can go to their UConnect account and click on the widget titled "Paying for School". You will then click Bursar Account and Pay Now. If you as the parent would like your own UCO account to login in and pay, as well as see your student's grades, you can set up a proxy account by following the attached instructions. The first needlearts club meeting will be Tuesday, September 17th at 3:15 in room 201 of the annex. If you are interested in knitting, crocheting, or embroidery please join us.

Tuesday Sept. 17th at 6pm there will be a Parent/Booster Club meeting for Girls Golf. Please be sure and be available on that evening to discuss the upcoming season. It will be in Coach Hixson’s Room in the Annex #222

Do you look up at the sky? Do you love all things that fly? Join Aviation club Wednesday, Sept. 18th after school in 175. Our guest speakers include a commercial pilot, flight instructor, and DCHS junior currently learning to fly. All students are welcome. Come see what’s ‘up’ with the aviation club Wednesday.

Invitations to NHS will go out September 16th. In order to qualify, students need a cumulative weighted GPA of 3.85 or higher AND be taking one honors class freshman year and two every year thereafter.

OU College of Education is hosting an event for high school students interested in pursuing a teaching degree. The event will take place on Friday, September 27th. For more information and to register visit OU Teacher Bound. Registration is open until September 20th but space is limited.

UCO’s Criminal Justice Day 2024 will be held on Friday, October 4th from 9:30 - 2:30 p.m. For more information or to register go to: UCO Criminal Justice Day

OU College of Medicine offers a program, Club Scrubs, for high school students interested in the medical field. Club Scrubs is a hands-on, exciting, interactive club for High School students interested in exploring health careers. Students engage with different healthcare fields, working directly with current HSC students, faculty & staff, to encourage the pursuit of higher education & STEM career paths.
