March is National Athletic Training Month!

While elementary schools don’t have athletic trainers, we want to take this opportunity to recognize the incredible work of our PE teachers, Mrs. Edgar and Mr. Collins, as well as Mrs. Gentles. The foundation they lay for our students—teaching them the importance of staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle—makes a lasting impact. We are so grateful for their dedication and the energy they bring to our school every day!

Spring Carnival

The Giesinger Spring Carnival is coming up on March 28, 2025 and each grade level has been tasked with putting together a basket for the Silent Auction. We are asking for donations according to grade level for their themed baskets.

Pre-K /Kindergarten/Life Skills Basket “Restaurant/Date Night”

Requesting restaurant gift cards or gift cards to places for a date night activity (i.e. Top Golf, the movie theater, etc.) **Any dollar increment will be accepted and is greatly appreciated!

1st Grade Basket “King of the Grill”

Requesting anything useful for grilling, even HEB gift cards for grocery purchases!

2nd Grade Basket “Family Movie/Game Night”

Requesting anything that would make a movie or game night fun!

3rd Grade Basket “DIY/Crafters Joy”

Requesting anything for crafting or artsy DIY projects!

4th Grade Basket “Coffee Lover’s Dream”

Requesting anything to amp up a fellow coffee lover’s coffee bar! Like mugs, different types of coffee, syrups, peppermint stir spoons, etc.

*Please send or drop-off above donations by Tuesday, March 25th so that we have time to assemble the baskets!
