District 103
Preschool Registration Now Open
Please share this communication with your D103 friends so they know that families may now register their preschool student for D103's Early Childhood program. Once a child is registered, District 103 must receive the $325 non-refundable deposit by Tuesday, December 31, to secure the child’s enrollment in the program. The deposit will be applied toward the price of tuition. If payment is not received by this date, the child’s enrollment in the class will be forfeited, and the next child on the waitlist will be admitted.

Benefits of D103's Early Childhood Program
- Our Early Childhood program involves both general education and special education students learning side by side in a preschool classroom.
- Our Early Childhood program at Sprague School provides a blended classroom setting that includes children who are 3-, 4-, and 5-years-old.
- Students benefit by receiving instruction and therapeutic services from licensed/certified District 103 teachers who may continue to be their teachers into their early elementary years. Parents are also able to form relationships with these same teachers and therapists.
- Educational Philosophy: District 103 focuses on developing the strengths and needs of the whole child. Our students spend time learning and playing together in an environment where they will eventually attend school full time. District 103 teachers focus on learning through play by providing hands-on, interactive learning experiences. Early childhood students participate in a variety of small and large group activities that focus on developing social and learning related skills through investigation, exploration, and discovery.
- Early Childhood children participate in the same programming as Sprague K-2 students such as library time, music, physical education activities, recess, and more.
- The Early Childhood curriculum is designed to prepare students for success in Sprague kindergarten classrooms and beyond.
Waitlist
Classes do fill up. Once a program is filled, children will be placed on a waitlist. Once the family is notified of an available spot in the desired program, the family will have one week to notify the school of their decision to register their child into the program and pay the deposit. After that one week has expired, the next child on the waitlist will be invited to register.
