ATTENDANCE MATTERS
Every Day Counts: The Importance of Consistent Attendance
Attendance is crucial for student success. Every school day offers valuable learning opportunities, and missing class can make it harder to catch up on key content. The more students are present, the more they benefit from lessons, discussions, and hands-on activities that help with their current success and prepare them for the next grade level.
Here’s why attendance matters:
- Stay on Track: Each day builds on the previous one, and consistent attendance helps students stay caught up with current lessons.
- Less Stress: Students who miss fewer days have less to catch up on and can avoid feeling overwhelmed.
- Stronger Connections: Regular attendance helps students stay engaged, develop relationships with teachers and peers, and participate in collaborative activities.
We understand that sometimes absences are unavoidable, but we encourage families to help students attend school regularly to ensure they don’t miss out on important learning. Together, we can help all students succeed!
IDEAL DATES FOR APPOINTMENTS OR VACATIONS
Dressing for the Weather
Important Weather Guidelines:
- Students will go outside if the temperature is above 32°F and the weather is not rainy, snowy, or stormy.
- Please dress appropriately for the weather!
- If it's cold, bring a coat or jacket.
- No blankets allowed.
Stay prepared and stay comfortable!
Every Friday PTSO sells concession items. Cash only.

STUDENTS DON'T EXCHANGE GIFTS AT SCHOOL
In order to maintain a focused and productive learning environment, we ask that students exchange gifts outside of school hours and off of school grounds. While we understand the joy and thoughtfulness that gift-giving can bring, there are a few reasons we make this request :
Minimizing Distractions: The excitement surrounding gifts can sometimes be distracting to students during class time, affecting their ability to concentrate and participate fully in their learning.
Preventing Lost or Forgotten Gifts: With so many personal belongings to manage, it’s easy for students to misplace or forget gifts at school. We want to make sure no one feels disappointed or stressed over misplaced items.
Space and Convenience: Many gifts can be bulky or difficult to manage along with the other materials students need to carry throughout the school day. By exchanging gifts outside of school, we can ensure that students have enough room to focus on their academic activities.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping maintain a smooth and effective school day. Thank you for supporting this request and for helping us create an environment where students can thrive.
