Science Road Trip
Division of Consolidated Laboratory Services – Richmond, VA
Thursday, March 7, 10am – 12pm
The Cohen Career Center presents a trip to the Division of Consolidated Laboratory Services – Virginia’s state public health laboratory.
DCLS was the first consolidated laboratory in the nation and offers a wide variety of unique laboratory testing services in support of public health, environmental protection and emergency response. DCLS performs over 7 million tests each year in order to ensure the safety and health of Virginia's citizens, our food supply and our environment.
Participate in a comprehensive, two-hour tour of labs, and talk with scientists along the way. Get the inside perspective of what it’s like to work in this world class facility.
Tour size is limited. You are responsible for your own transportation to DCLS.
If you are interested in participating, please email Don Snyder, STEM Liaison, at the Cohen Career Center at dlsnyder@wm.edu.
Deadline to respond is Tuesday, February 26th at 4pm.
