A Note From Mrs. Diee
Hello, Lyncrest Families!
We’ve had an exciting and enriching week at Lyncrest, and I’m thrilled to share some of the highlights with you!
4th Grade Strawberry DNA Extraction: The students had an amazing time extracting DNA from strawberries during a special visit from Thermo Fisher Scientific. It was such a fun and engaging hands-on experience!
Blow-Up Planetarium: All students were captivated by the blow-up planetarium experience from StarLab! They explored the stars and compared constellations with Chinese cultural stories of the stars, making great connections between science and storytelling.
Special Read Alouds: We enjoyed some wonderful read-alouds this week, including stories shared by Mrs. Diee and thoughtful contributions from our students who celebrate Ramadan.
Ramadan and Eid Presentation: A big thank you to the parents who joined us on Friday afternoon to share a meaningful and informative presentation about Ramadan and Eid. The students truly enjoyed learning and asking questions!
