Who?

Any teacher from a Madison or Champaign county school or CTC who teaches a non-tested subject area.

What?

The new Ohio Teacher Evaluation System (OTES 2.0) requires teachers to utilizes two measures of High-Quality Student Data (HQSD). Most tested subjects have either value-added and/or vendor-approved assessments for these measures; however, teachers in the subjects listed above will most likely have to create at least two assessments that will generate HQSD.


We understand the difficulty in creating high-quality assessments, especially in a subject area where you might be the only teacher. Therefore, we have created two opportunities for you to work with your job-alike peers from area school districts.


Google Classroom

Find your subject area and either join the classroom and/or access the Google Folder to begin collaborating.


Each Google folder is completely editable so that you can add copies of your assessments to assist in the creation of HQSD instruments.


HQSD Work Session(s)

Register to attend one (or two) of the work sessions being held at Mechanicsburg High School on either Monday, June 7 or Tuesday, June 8. These sessions are being held so that participants can work collaboratively to create assessments. Participants will receive contact hours upon completion of a feedback survey.
