Words with Miss Renee
Last week was National Banned Book Week and it's become a bit of a holiday for librarians given the national increase in book banning in the last few years. I was absolutely moved to tears when a patron brought in this mini quilt she made! I'll cherish this gift, my friend, and my freedom to read for the rest of my life.
Fall Break is almost upon us and we are here for it! We've got books, games, and activity backpacks too keep your family entertained at home, lots of programs during the week and weekends, plus STEAM activities in the activity room.
Yours in literacy and in life,
Renee Bowman
