Greetings To Each Of You:
We are quickly approaching the end of the 1st nine weeks. Parents be sure you are monitoring your child's grades and progress. As a reminder grades and progress can be monitored on the following platforms: Schools PLP, Progress Learning, Edgenuity, and Infinite Campus. Feel free to reach out to your child's teacher for updates. Our district wide parent-teacher conferences will be held October 10-13, 2023. You should hear from the homeroom teachers for your appointment time. Our goal is to have 100% parent participation.
Parents please remind your son/daughter about our dress code: hoods, tights (as stand alone pants) and slides are NOT permitted.
Parents please pay close attention to the guidance for students under the age of 16 attending sporting events. Flyer posted below.
Thank you for your support of Family Engagements Events "Math Night and "Smarty Pants". We are always looking for creative ways to increase family engagement. Please submit any ideas you may have to stefani.wright @dcsirish.com or contact her at 478-353-8400. Our next scheduled Family Engagement Events will be the district wide parent teacher conferences and "Fueling Student Success as a Team" (see flyer posted below).
Our Evening School Program (ESP) is up and running. ESP is great for remediation, enrichment, and attendance recovery. Evening School hours are Monday and Friday Asynchronous (virtual) and Tuesday-Thursday in person from 2:30-6:00. Our attendance recovery plans have been implemented and students are being required to attend our ESP in person session to make up days missed.
Parents, if you haven't returned the student information packets please do so as soon as possible.
