Jefferson Celebrated
Hello Jefferson Families,
Please join me in celebrating our teachers and staff this week during Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week! Thanks to your generous donations, we will be catering lunch and providing snacks for the teachers and staff throughout the week. Our students can also show their appreciation by participating in the activities described below. Please check your child's take-home folder for printed activities they can complete at home and bring to school each day.
As the end of the school year approaches, please mark your calendars! The last day for preschoolers is June 5th. This is also an early release day.
On June 5th from 3:00-5:00 PM, we invite kindergarten bound students and families to join us on our playground and courtyard to celebrate our kindergarten bound students as they embark on their next adventure!
Our Parent Advisory Committee is also hosting kindergarten playdates at each of the elementary schools this month. Dates and times can be found below. Our next Parent Advisory Committee Meeting is on May 7th @ 6:00 PM. Please RSVP below.
If you have not already done so, please take our Parent Satisfaction Survey. We greatly appreciate the feedback and will use this information to improve our practices.
Thank you for your continued support!
Ms. Barkley

Butterfly Buddies
Mohamed
Mohamed is doing a great job following the group throughout the school day! He has been completing his school routines for arrival and dismissal with minimal adult support, transitioning with the class when it is time to move onto a different activity with just a transitional cue, and communicating his wants to an adult more consistently! Mohamed's adjustment to school and engagement has been lovely. So proud of you Mohamed!
