THANKFUL FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to all the parents and guardians who contributed to our recent food drive. Your generosity has made a tremendous impact, and we are so grateful for the kindness you've shown to those in need. We were able to raise over 5,300 items for the Christian Care Center of Wylie.
Because of your donations, we are able to provide nutritious food and essential items to local families facing challenges. As a campus, we collected over $600 to donate to the Center as well.
Every can, box, and package you contributed will make a real difference, and it is your support that helps build a stronger, more caring community. Thank you for your continued dedication to making the world a better place for all. Your kindness is truly appreciated!
MULTICULTURAL NIGHT IS MONDAY!
We are thrilled to invite you to our Multicultural Night, a celebration of the diverse cultures, traditions, and stories that make our school community so special. This event will be an exciting opportunity for your family to share and showcase your cultural heritage through engaging displays and interactive activities. Whether it's through geography, religion, achievements, or social and economic contributions, we invite you to help us build a vibrant tapestry that reflects the rich diversity of our world.
Join us for a night of exploration and connection, as we learn from one another’s experiences and celebrate the uniqueness of each culture. Families are encouraged to create booths, bring artifacts, share traditional foods, or highlight important elements of their history and cultural heritage.
Multicultural Night is scheduled for Monday, November 18th from 5:30-7:00pm. Doors will open at 5pm for families participating for any set up needed.
This event is a chance to foster understanding, pride, and unity among our students and families, while highlighting the incredible achievements and contributions of different cultures. We look forward to celebrating together!

THE CREATURE TEACHER
On Thursday, November 21, our students will venture on an extraordinary animal educational journey filled with laughter, learning, and awe-inspiring creatures from The Creature Teacher Program!
Students will rotate through four stations to experience live animal programs that keep their attention while instilling animal education and an appreciation for nature and conservation.
Students will be running an alternate schedule this day. Due to this schedule, no lunch visitors will be allowed on campus. The rest of the week families are welcome to join their student for lunch!
BARK Information for Parents
When schools give students access to devices and online accounts, an incredible world of learning opportunities opens up — as well as potential dangers. Digital safety is critically important to Draper Intermediate, which is why we are now using Bark for Schools to help us protect our students both online and in real life.
Bark monitors for signs of potential issues like:
● Cyberbullying
● Suicidal ideation
● Sexual predators
● Threats of violence
● And more
Wylie ISD Bark Parent Resources
Alerts at the first signs of danger When possible dangers arise on school-issued accounts, Bark for Schools sends us alerts so we can address the situation in a timely manner. These alerts also give us insights that help us promote the wellness of the entire student body. Sign up to get alerts with Parent Portal Kids use their school-issued accounts both at school and at home, and families are often in a better position to respond to urgent alerts after hours, on weekends, and during breaks. Earlier this year, you received an invitation to create your free account for the Bark for Schools Parent Portal. As soon as you opt-in, you receive after-hours alerts if Bark detects potentially time-sensitive issues.

Campus Tutorial Schedule
On Thursday afternoons, Study Squad is available from 3:30-5:00 in the cafeteria. Students can come to ask questions and get support of our professional staff on any learning for all content areas. It is also a time for students to complete missing or late work with the support of our teachers.
In an effort to have tutorial support for students each morning and afternoon, each team has a representative available from 7:45-8:15 and 3:30-4:15. The chart below shares who is available and when. Students can go to ANY session for support; they do not have to attend with their teacher.
