This concert was a preview of what they will be performing on December 2nd at the NYSSMA Winter Concert in Rochester, NY

This Fall, the Herricks International Children's Aid Program (HICAP) collaborated with Herricks students to donate to local families in need. Students handcrafted Herricks bracelets and worked with HICAP to fundraise for the LI Cares Thanksgiving Food Drive. Proceeds from the sale went to purchasing and assembling Thanksgiving meals for the Adopt-a-Family program.

On November 17th, students from Ms. Zebrowski's AP Photography class, Digital Photography class and Photography 2 class visited the Brooklyn Bridge to take shots on location. Students were excited to be able to capture the beauty around us outside the classroom using film and digital cameras.

On Friday, November 3, Mrs . Donza, Ms. McDevitt, and Mrs. Evans studio art classes went to the Nassau County Museum of Art to view modern portraiture in works of art by Matisse, Warhol, Hockney, Picasso, Modigliani, Chuck Close and many more.

One exhibition curated by Ken Wayne, PhD, (the words leading expert on Modigliani), curated an exhibition called "Modigliani and the Modern Portrait."
