APEX Color Games!
Our APEX PTO Fundraiser officially kicked off this week, leading up to the super fun Color Games Event on Friday, November 8th!
Check out the flyer below for all the details. Students are gathering donations to support our awesome school. This year, all the funds raised will go towards Teacher Grants, our PTO budget, and fun Staff Appreciation events.
Any student who raises $30 by next Friday gets to join in on the Color Games fun!

Volunteers Needed for the Color Battle - Friday 11/8
The final big event for APEX is this coming Friday, November 8, 2024.
We need volunteers from 1:45pm to 4:30pm to help get students checked-in, with the Games on the field, and then cleanup.

HBMS Choir Performance
The HBMS Choir performed on October 20th at a benefit concert for Lake Travis Crisis Ministries. This event helped raise funds for LTCM's food and financial aid programs.

Veteran's Day Ceremony - Monday November 11th
On November 11, 2024, the Hudson Bend Middle School Fine Arts department will host a Veterans Day Ceremony for the student body and veterans in our school community.
HBMS parents/guardians/grandparents that are Veterans are invited to the ceremony as well as community members. We have limited space in the gym, so not ALL parents are invited to the ceremony. We will have seating for Honored Guests who RSVP using the below form.

Homework Help Expectations
- Personal smart devices are not allowed to be used during this time.
- School work only - no games or socializing
- Remain in Homework Help entirety of assigned time
- Leaving early requires teacher to speak with parent
Buc Lounge
What is the Buc Lounge?
A place where any and all students are welcome to “shop” confidentially for free items they need.
What does the Buc Lounge include?
Food, personal care items, clothing, shoes, and school supplies.
