Superintendent's Message
Dear Bethel Community,
As we wrap up the 2023-2024 school year, I want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of our staff and students. Despite facing numerous challenges throughout the year, our school community has shown resilience and perseverance in achieving success.
As we head into the summer break, I encourage everyone to take the time to reset and reenergize. It is important to invest in ourselves emotionally, mentally, and physically. By taking care of our well-being, we can recharge and come back stronger for the new school year ahead.
I want to emphasize the importance of continuously seeking ways to improve our skillsets and health. Whether it's pursuing professional development opportunities or prioritizing self-care, investing in ourselves allows us to grow and thrive both personally and professionally.
I wish everyone a safe and enjoyable summer filled with relaxation and rejuvenation. Let's use this time to recharge our batteries and prepare for a successful 2024-2025 school year that lies ahead. Together, we will continue to strive for excellence and work towards creating a positive and enriching learning environment for all.

Band Booster Car Show
The Bethel Band are thrilled to share the success of the Bethel Band Booster Car Show that took place on Saturday, April 13th. The event was a fantastic showcase of 136 total entries, featuring a variety of amazing vehicles and car collections from the surrounding area.
In addition to the impressive display of cars, the event also included vendor booths, concessions, face painting, and a bounce house for children to enjoy. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the performance by the talented Bethel Jazz Band, who added a musical touch to the festivities.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Bethel Band Boosters and Coordinator Christina Curry for their dedication and hard work in organizing such a successful event. Their efforts truly made the day memorable for all attendees and helped support the Bethel Band program.
Overall, the Bethel Band Booster Car Show was a tremendous success, bringing together our community in celebration of music, cars, and fun. We look forward to more exciting events in the future and continue to appreciate the unwavering support of our band booster community.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to the Bethel Band program.

BMS Hosts Ellis Island
On April 30th, our BLE students were able to travel to Ellis Island (Old Gym) by boarding a ship (school bus). Students saw the Statue of Liberty. They went up the "Stairs of Separation" onto the stage. Inspectors were watching for any "health issues.” Students joined back up for the entrance interview and to receive their certificate of arrival. Then, they headed to the Ellis Island "cafeteria" to get bananas & ice cream. Next, students met their "American" friend where they received some American money (chocolate coin) & were sent on their way to their "new home' in the USA. Thank you, Mrs. Marcussen and the Middle School GT students, for a fun, educational adventure!
Spring Field Trips
Our BLE students enjoyed attending their spring field trips with their teachers and classmates!
