Staffing
We have fresh faces in our Special Education department. Taylor Reihl will be servicing our third and fourth graders and Kayla McCoy will be servicing our fifth and sixth graders.
In third grade Miss Marisa Ieraci and Mrs. Elyse Toth will be joining the team. Both of these ladies come with experience in the field of education.
In Fifth grade, Mrs. Zepeda is moving to a new position as our Multi-Lingual teacher. Ms. Megan Lemley will be replacing Mrs. Zepeda in fifth grade and Miss Sarah Koontz will be beginning her teaching career at JIS in fifth grade.
Mr. Geoff DiPiro will be joining us in 6th grade and will be teaching Math and Science. He is also helping out with the JHS Girls' soccer team.
Also making the official announcement that Mrs. Brooks has moved over to our central office and Mrs. Wolfe has filled that position as our treasurer/secretary. Mrs. Beth Whitman has joined us as our attendance secretary.
Car Drop Off/Pick Up
- Students will be let in the building at 8:30. Please follow the directions of adults monitoring student drop off. For families new to our building, drop off takes place in the lot in front of the main entrance.
- Students will be picked up in the same location. We will not have students waiting this year, but will have them come down from classrooms as you arrive in the lot. This may take a little longer, so please be patient. Student pick up will begin at 3:17.
Bus Riders
- If you have not heard from your bus driver, the routes have not changed.
- Pick up times will be similar to last year, but please be ready 10-15 minutes early as we start the year.
- Remember, the first couple of days it will take a little longer for the bus routes. By the end of the first full week, drop off times should be established.
