Below please find the 2024-2025 School Calendar DRAFT. This calendar is TENTATIVE and only a DRAFT. It is still in the approval process with the Diocese of Paterson Catholic Schools Office (CSO), which has final approval of every school calendar in the diocese, including St. Patrick School. We expect to receive final approval from the CSO in early June.
As stated on the DRAFT calendar, all dates are subject to change. Once the Parent Portal has been updated for the 2024-2025 school year, please check it consistently during the 2024-2025 school year for updated dates and times of school events. Attached below is the Home & School Association (HSA) calendar of the events for the 2024-2025 school year at St. Patrick School! The HSA is looking forward to a great year filled with activities for everyone. Should you have any questions or would like to volunteer, email spshsa@st-pats.org.
St. Patrick School is proud to once again participate in Chatham Borough's annual Fishawack Festival on Saturday, June 8 from 10AM - 4PM! We are looking forward to showing the greater Chatham community all that St. Patrick School has to offer and to meet prospective families. We would love to see our families and students visit us at our "booth". Please stop by and say hello to the admissions staff and faculty who will be handing out school information and water!
Hello St. Patrick Community!
It was wonderful to see so many of our parents at the Sneak Peek on Monday evening. It was also wonderful to hear that our students are sharing the learning and growth they are experiencing in regards to understanding themselves and their feelings. We continued to reinforce and discuss what to do when having strong feelings or emotions this week. I was pleased to hear the students all know at least three strategies for dealing with their feelings. It was also nice to hear how the ability to describe our feelings using a variety of words has improved. Practice makes progress. Please continue to encourage your children to identify their feelings and the solutions they have used to manage them.
We are entering the last stretch of the school year. We will play games, practice communicating and review some of our tools before heading into the summer months. Please know that, if needed, I can be reached during the summer months by email and will be available for individual counseling services. Please contact me for further information.
Have a lovely Memorial Day weekend. Please take a moment to honor the military service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the benefit and continued freedom of our country.
