Pirates Post
Week of: Sept. 13th
Message from Principal Drew...
Seniors, you are required by North Carolina Law to submit proof of the Meningococcal vaccine by no later than September 22 to continue to attend school. If you have any questions about this requirement please contact Mrs. Kelli Goetsch our school nurse via email or by calling the school.
Parents, as a reminder, outside food is not allowed in our building. We are asking for your help with this issue. Please do not bring your student food from an outside restaurant as we are not allowed to serve it to them until school is over. Please encourage your child to partake in our terrific cafeteria dining options or pack a lunch from home each day.
Students we have continued to improve our adherence to dress code and cell phone policies. As we move into week four students please be reminded that all hats should be left in your vehicle or inside your book bag at all times while in the building. Also pants should be worn at waist level for all students and shorts must be at least mid-thigh in length. Holes in clothes must not be above mid-thigh. Your cooperation with these guidelines is greatly appreciated.
Yearbooks are currently for sale for $55 each. This early bird price will no longer be available after September 24th so don't delay in ordering your yearbook today.

Mrs. Thomas has 4 children (two who attended PCHS and one currently at HGS) and 3 grandchildren (all 3 and under!). She loves working here at PCHS and is excited to get to know our students!
Ms. Spear is originally from the area and moved to Greenville for 10 years, where she went to East Carolina University (GO PIRATES) for her undergraduate and graduate degrees. Ms. Spear is getting married in April and she can not wait ! She is sooo excited to be here at PCHS to work with each of you.
Now that you know a little about each counselor, please stop in to Student Services to meet them face to face. The counselors are here to meet any of your academic, career, or social emotional needs...and of course to be a listening ear anytime you may need it.
