Stage Notes
East Lincoln High School Chorus & Theatre Newsletter
February 2021
The Stage Notes Newsletter is published the first of every month and contains lots of information about both the Theatre Arts and Choral Music programs at East Lincoln High School. We want to try not only to get the word out about upcoming performances but also to keep our community up-to-date on what our students are doing and how they can partner with us to produce the highest quality programs.
If you have friends, family, or neighbors who would enjoy this monthly look into theatre and chorus, share with them our website, www.EastLincolnOnStage.org, and they can sign up to receive the newsletter at the bottom of any page.
Thanks for being a part of our performing arts community!
Thank You, Carolina Broadway Theatre!
While we are saddened that CBT is no longer able to bring theatre to life on stages around our community, we are grateful they chose us to honor their collection in our work using the power of theatre to help our students find their individual light.
82 Seats To Go!
There are currently 82 remaining seats to be sponsored. If you are interested and able to help us move forward with this project, please follow the link below for additional information on completing the process. If the time is not right for you, please consider sharing this information with others who might have the interest and resources to help complete the project.
We would love to have new chairs in place for the opening of Shrek in March! Please help us get the word out!
2021 Sponsorship Drive Begins
We are so grateful to the local businesses and organizations who sponsored and advertised with us for 2020! When you have the chance to support these businesses, please do, and let them know how much you appreciate their support of the performing arts at East Lincoln!
We will soon begin sending out sponsorship and advertisement information for 2021. We look forward to partnering with more of our local businesses and organizations as we continue to grow the performing arts programs at East Lincoln!
Did you know that one piece of music for a choir of 20 costs $55 making the total cost for a concert around $500?
While expensive, these productions are amazing and wonderful laboratory settings for students to act, create, and collaborate all while learning a plethora of skills that will serve them both in the arts and in their future academic and professional endeavors.
That's where YOU come in! We are currently beginning our search for sponsors and advertisers for 2020. Each advertisement and sponsorship support FOUR CHORAL CONCERTS, THREE MAINSTAGE PRODUCTIONS, TWO CLASS PRODUCTIONS, and a partridge in a pear tree (well, not really!)
If you, your friend, or family member would consider partnering with us for 2020, please check out the forms below. This information can also be found on our website under the keyword SUPPORT US. You may mail the forms to the school with a check or complete them and pay online.
If you have any questions about our programs, the levels of partnership, or how the funds are used, please contact Mr. Franklin.
We look forward to seeing your businesses and organizations in our 2021 playbills!
