Bear Creek Teacher of the Year

Dear Bear Creek Families,

We had a joyous week begin with recognizing, Jamie Camalich as the Bear Creek Teacher of the Year. Our Cubs are grateful for Mrs. Camalich and the excellence she brings each day.

On Thursday, we hosted Coffee with the Principal. It was a greta way to connect and share out Bear Creek events. Please know that everyone is welcome to the monthly CAC meetings. These meetings are another way to stay informed.

Monday is a Holiday. Enjoy your day to reflect upon the contributions of Dr. Martin Luther King.

Interested in Bear Creek's lottery based Kindergarten Dual Language Program?

Now is the time to complete your priority registration for this program using the Enroll Austin online registration system. Priority registration ends February 4, 2025. Applicants will be notified of lottery results by March 14.

Returning to Bear Creek for the 2025-2026 School year?

Please help us staff appropriately for the upcoming school year by registering by February 4th! Knowing our staffing needs early in the hiring season gives us access to the best of the best pool of applicants we are able to hire for your children. Returning families do not need to upload registration documents unless something has changed.

Sidenote: Parents - Do you have any books that you have read and no longer wish to keep? Bear Creek has started its own little lending library for teachers. Pass along that paperback, worn novel, or even travel guide. We are sharing our love of reading with each other. Thank you for considering this donation.
