Plastic Bottles and Soup Cans?
MG is collecting rinsed out plastic bottles and soup cans for a project we will be doing on February 6th for our Family Leader in Me Night. Please help us out and send in plastic bottles and soup cans.

Winter has Arrived!
In District 75, we go outside for recess unless there are unsafe conditions and/or the wind chill temperature is below 10 degrees. Be sure your child has hat, coat, gloves, etc. If you do not have those things, please contact the school and we can help you out.
Kids' Heart Challenge
We just kicked off our Kids Heart Challenge! Get ready to change and save lives by registering, sending messages, and completing Finn's Mission.
Here’s what to do next:
- Join our team and download the AHA Schools app:
- Personalize your student’s page – Upload a photo and message about why they are supporting the American Heart Association.
- Lead by example – Make a personal donation to kick off your student’s fundraising efforts.
- Ask for support – Send emails/texts and copy and paste your fundraising link into social media. Messages are already written for you in the AHA Schools app and your online headquarters!
Through Finn’s Mission, you’ll learn the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR and the warning signs of a stroke!

Tonality Dine Out Nights - Head to Tonality (D75 Family Business) for a night of no cooking. Show this flyer or mention D75 PTO and Tonality will donate 15% back to the PTO! Each night is themed to a school in the District, but you can attend any of the listed nights. See the flyer below.

Box Tops Update:
We have currently raised $472.10 for the 2024-2025 School year. January is filled with bonus offers to earn extra Box Tops for our schools. The top 50 schools that complete the January Monthly Challenge will earn an additional 2500 Bonus Box Tops ($250). As a reminder families simply need to download the app and either search for District 75 PTO Mundelein or enter code PNKN0SEQ.
A Note from our Social Workers
When it turns chilly outside, it is the perfect time to turn up the warmth inside. Building strong relationships with your kids takes time and effort, but the benefits are endless. At MG all students know the importance of how to put “first things first.” We use this phrase to help students be leaders in their education. This idea is also so helpful when your child plans how they will spend their free time. When they choose to spend time with their family and friends, they are choosing to build their relationships. Relationships really matter when it comes to the emotional well-being and physical health of kids and adults.
During this chilly season, choose to turn up the warmth of your relationships in your home. You could cook meals together, play a board game, build a fort, make art, have a dance party, or plan an at-home movie night. The attached worksheet will walk your family through putting “first things first” at home and choosing to make more time for each other.
