The Mini Maverick Messenger is our monthly PTA communication to all our wonderful Ogle Families. This is your one stop shop to find upcoming events, fundraisers, photos, volunteer opportunities, & updated information passed along from our PTA meetings. We appreciate everyone joining us last Friday night for our Glow Dance & Silent Auction! What a turnout!! This event wouldn't have been a success without all our fantastic PTA volunteers, our Emerson HS volunteers, and our Ogle Ohana who came out to celebrate the night. It was a fantastic evening of dancing, snacking, crafting, mingling, photo taking, and bidding! We hope you had as much fun as we did, because we can't wait to do it up again next year!

Our PTA appreciates every volunteer who assists our community, and as a small thank you we will be announcing a volunteer each month who will be awarded with a special thank you. For April, our PTA would like to recognize Heather Hammer! This year has been an incredibly busy year for Heather as she took on a new job as a director of a local school. While not only being a director, she is also a wife, mother of three girls, and finds the time to be our PTA's VP of Budget & Finance. If you attended a spirit night this school year such as our Skate Night, Jason's Deli, or purchased for Nothing Bundt Cakes than Heather is the one to thank. She also was our lead on the fantastic and very successful COLOR RUN that provided funds for events this school year! Not only does Heather volunteer at Ogle but she is also very involved at Emerson HS as well! We are so grateful to have Heather on the team and appreciate all her generosity, from the time she spends volunteering to her fun and new ideas she brings to our Ogle community. THANK YOU HEATHER!!!

We are excited to share with you that opportunities to volunteer at our Ogle Campus are now posted in Voly (our volunteer management system,) along with the descriptions and date/times needed.

1. Work Room Volunteers: Supporting our teachers by helping with lamination, cutting, sorting, stapling, etc. *All materials provided and younger siblings are welcome to join*

2. Watch D.O.G.S. (any male figure (or female!)): Spend the day on campus volunteering with your student & helping in your child's classroom

3. Mystery Readers: Calling all Kinder parents! Sign up to be a mystery reader for your kiddo's classroom!

4. Lunchroom Heroes: Monitoring students and assisting with various tasks during lunch

5. Field Day: All Grade Levels! Come see your student during field day and sign up to assist at stations for activities, popsicles, first aid, and more.
