Tiger Families,

Thank you for a great (and crazy weather) January!

Kindergarten Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year is now open for any child turning 5 on or before August 31, 2025. We're excited to welcome our newest Class of 2038 Tigers for K Day on March 14th. Click here for the registration link. If you need assistance, please give Mrs. Gilbert a call at 704-476-8225.

February 3rd-7th is National School Counseling Week. We are thankful for the support Mrs. Robinson provides for the North Tiger students! If you see her, tell her "Thank you!"

Progress Reports will be sent home on Thursday, February 6th.

February 10th-14th is Bus Driver Appreciation Week. We are fortunate to have some of the best at North Elementary! Please show Mrs. Humphries (202 AM), Ms. Littlejohn (202 PM), Mrs Nalley (174 AM), Ms, Hughes (174 PM), Mrs. Camp (Sub), Mrs. Moore (Sub), and Mrs, Sherrill (Sub) some love during this week!

The Book Fair will be at North February 10th through the 13th. Parent Night will be on Thursday, February 13th from 1-6pm. Click here for the online book fair link.

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on February 13th. School will dismiss at 1:00pm. Friday, February 14th is a Teacher Workday. There will be no school for students.

The North Relay for Life Spirit sale is going on now through the end of February. Please consider purchasing a shirt to support Relay for Life!

Please consider donating any clothing, shoes, etc to the North Clothing Bin located in our car rider line near the playground. North receives money for every pound of clothing collected. We appreciate any donations!

As a reminder, North has been approved as a CEP (Community Eligibility Provision) School again for the 2024-2025 school year. This means ALL students will receive free breakfast and lunch each day. As always, extras will be available to purchase. We will continue to use the LINQ Connect system for cafeteria purchases. Use this website to create an account.

Parents, I would like to remind everyone that students should not be dropped off in our front parking lot or on Ramseur Street in front of the school. This is a huge safety concern. Please make sure they are dropped off in the back of the building in the car line. Our line moves quickly!

Lastly, parents, please make sure you have your ID with you if you're coming to school to eat lunch or check out your child. Our sign-in/out system requires a driver's license or ID to be scanned. We strive to keep our students safe. This is one additional step we can use to ensure the safety of everyone here at school. Please share this information with anyone who may come to school to eat lunch with your child. Please note that visitors are not allowed to go to classrooms after lunch. Please say your goodbyes in the cafeteria. Thank you for your cooperation with this.
