Mission Statement of the Columbus Pickleball Club
To promote the sport of pickleball as a fun, healthy, recreational activity for all skill levels in Columbus and the surrounding area.
Words from the President
Greetings! August just flew by! As president the first month since Nancy stepped down, I have been learning all the projects the club participates in. CPC is very lucky to have such devoted people to promote pickleball in our community and I am thrilled to be included in this group of wonderful people.
On August 8th, we celebrated National Pickleball Day by packing the courts at Donner and Ceraland. 18 full courts with people waiting was a sight to see! Dunn Stadium is awaiting some permits to start but still projecting to be finished in October.
We held a beginner clinic with 16 participants. Please welcome them on the courts and show them the ropes.
Discover Columbus Tournament is right around the corner and the club has been busy with last minute touches. Play, volunteer, or just come and watch the games!
Have thoughts or concerns? I would love to hear from you. I can be reached at 812-344-7745 or at jageilker@icloud.com
See you on the courts!
Julie

Festival of Lights Parade - December 7th - Downtown Columbus
