Girls on the Run

Good luck to our Girls on the Run team as they run their 5K tomorrow! Thank you to Ms. Lauritzen and Ms. Wool for a great Girls on the Run season! Good luck, girls, coaches, and running buddies!

Solon's Science Olympiad Team

Whoops! Excuse our mistake...this picture was accidentally omitted from our yearbook. We wanted to take an opportunity to showcase our super smart and innovative Science Olympiad team. This team of 5th graders had fun working and learning together during the first semester, culminating with their Rube Goldberg event in December. Thanks to Ms. Ewen and Mrs. Fricke for sponsoring this club.

End-of-Year Library Book Return and Fine Information

The final due date for all elementary library books was Thursday, May 16. Fine information for unreturned or damaged books will be available in PowerSchool by Monday, May 27. If a book is found and returned before the last day of school, the fine will be deleted. Payment for lost or damaged books can be made directly through PowerSchool.

Need a little extra help with your child’s nutrition this summer? The application for the new SUN Bucks benefit program is now open! Notification of automatic eligibility was sent April 16th via email. If you were not notified of automatic eligibility, submit your application as soon as possible to ensure you receive your SUN Bucks card to use for groceries this summer. If you receive SUN Bucks, you can still participate in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Together, these benefits help fuel children during the summer months when school is out. Find more information by visiting the SFSP Site Finder.
