Where is the Sun? Solar Eclipse April 8th!
What a fun day of experiencing learning! Each classroom spent time learning about the Solar Eclipse and, of course, getting to view it in real life. If you have extra solar glasses, we are collecting them at school to donate to an organization that sends them to schools in Latin America who will be able to experience a Solar Eclipse in August 2024.

ANDY THE THERAPY DOG AT ANDERSON -
Anderson had our first visit with Andy, the therapy dog. Andy Spartacus and his handler, Janine, came in last Friday. Many of our Anderson students and staff met Andy for the first time in person and through a short Zoom assembly, where everyone could see him and ask questions about him. It was a great first visit!
CLICK HERE to see more pictures of Andy's first Visit to school.
Andy will continue coming to Anderson on Fridays. He may visit classrooms or see small groups. As mentioned previously, If you prefer your child not to have any interaction with Andy, please email Mr. Jarot at nathan.jarot@d303.org
Upcoming Spring Assessments for 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade

Testing Days:
- Tue: 4/2 (Math 1)
- Wed. 4/3 (Math 2)
- Thu. 4/4 (Math 3)
- Tue. 4/9 (Reading 1)
- Wed. 4/10 (Reading 2)
Just so you know, students will take one test each day, as noted above.
Please ensure your child gets a good night's sleep and eats healthy meals.
It is vital that their Chromebooks are fully charged each night!
Thanks!
We are so proud of our student's hard work and learning this year. These tests are one way for our students to show what they know and for our teachers to get helpful information as to what learning standards each student has learned.
FROM THE ANDERSON PTO:
PTO FUNDRAISERS:
From the District - New Start /End times announced for 2024/25 School Year:
District 303 is pleased to present its lineup of Parent Education sessions for the 2023-2024 school year.
The Parent Education series (formerly Parent University) includes informational meetings and workshops intended to empower parents and guardians to support their children’s academic, social and emotional needs. Become informed on specialized topics, engage in two-way dialogue with speakers and fellow parents, and become a support resource for others.
Sessions for this school year will focus on bullying prevention, addressing anxiety, and include film screenings and discussions about the impact of screen time and cultural awareness. The schedule also includes college preparation workshops hosted by our high schools. Sessions were selected based in part on feedback from District 303 parents.
Explore the full lineup of sessions here. Signup forms for each session will be made available closer to the session dates. New this year, you can also register for Parent Education notifications and receive alerts as new information and session recaps become available.
