At Heritage Elementary, we believe in providing our students with enriching, hands-on experiences that connect them to the world around them. Agriculture plays a vital role in our everyday lives, and I’m excited to share some upcoming opportunities that will help our students better understand the importance of this field.

I am currently working with the Dairy Council to bring the Mobile Dairy Exhibit to our school! This interactive program will give students a close look at dairy farming and the processes involved in bringing milk from the farm to their tables. It’s a fun and educational experience that we know our students will love.

In addition, we have a wonderful virtual event coming up through AgVenture’s Fall Virtual Farm Trip, focused on peach farming. The trip will take place in the classroom on September 17, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. PST, and will be available to all grade levels, K-12.

A special invitation to our parents in agricultural fields: If you work in agriculture, we would love for you to consider volunteering in your child’s classroom to share more about what you do! This is a great opportunity to bring your unique experiences into the classroom and give our students a first-hand perspective on the importance of agriculture in our community. Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you’re interested in volunteering.

¡Actualmente estoy trabajando con el Consejo de Productos Lácteos para traer la Exhibición Móvil de Productos Lácteos a nuestra escuela! Este programa interactivo les dará a los estudiantes una mirada cercana a la producción lechera y los procesos involucrados en llevar la leche de la granja a sus mesas. Es una experiencia divertida y educativa que sabemos que a nuestros estudiantes les encantará.

Además, tenemos un maravilloso evento virtual a través del Viaje de Granja Virtual de Otoño de AgVenture, centrado en el cultivo de duraznos. El viaje se llevará a cabo en el salón de clases el 17 de septiembre de 2024 a las 9:00 a.m. PST, y estará disponible para todos los niveles de grado, K-12.

Online Data Confirmation (K-12)

We are excited to announce that this year, families will be able to verify their child's elementary school teacher and secondary school class schedule through our online data confirmation process. Starting on July 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM, parents who have completed the online data confirmation will be able to access this information. We encourage all parents to complete the online data confirmation process by following the instructions in the flyer below.

If you don’t call it will be an unexcused absence.
