A Message From Mrs. Landrum

Aragon Families,

As District 8 moves to content area specializing, parent teacher conference practices are sifting to Student Showcase of Learning. Instead of individual conferences that are one on one with a teacher, families are invited to sign up for a time block for students to showcase their learning in a classroom community setting. We look forward to students being able to showcase their learning which will also include Music, Art, PE and STEAM. By popular demand, the bookfair will be available to visit during our Showcase of Learning days. The time blocks are 30 minutes long. The signups will be sent out on October 2nd after school.

A Message From Nurse Wendy

Parents/Guardians,

Vision and hearing screenings will be happening at Aragon this month. These screenings are an important aspect of your child’s education. Vision and hearing screenings help us determine any vision or hearing concerns that could hinder your child’s ability to learn. Also, Eye Love Care, our optical partners are coming to Aragon in October. Eye Love Care offers a full comprehensive eye exam and glasses (if needed) at no cost to you. The eye exams offered by Eye Love Care are optional, more information about Eye Love Care will be in your child’s backpack soon.

Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8 provides no-cost Breakfast and Lunch for all students. It is important for households to still provide income information as qualifying households may be eligible for Summer EBT benefits and students may receive discounted technology fees, summer school fees, college testing fees, and more.
