IE Venture Network Area 31
EVERY THURSDAY SINCE 2011. Pioneering Entrepreneurship.
Venture Network Social, organized by Fundie Ventures, May 31st 2018!
Venture Network, an informal weekly pitch slam, is an invaluable resource for early stage entrepreneurs. Venture Network is a forum in which you can engage with the entrepreneurial community, promote your startup, and have the opportunity to pitch before a panel of investors & entrepreneurs. Venture Network is unique in that it is a very informal gathering where startups can meet investors in a casual setting over beers and snacks and focus on what’s important: building relationships. Venture Network is a great way to perfect your pitch, get feedback on your product, and meet the local startup community.
The three startups that will present their project in 7 minutes will be:
Ana Carolina Guglielmi, VOOIAGE
Vooiage is a medtech startup with a mission to create innovative healthcare solutions, currently focused on developing Virtual Reality solutions for physiotherapy. It was founded by 3 MBA alumni from IE Business School; an international team who has 10 years of work experience, complementary skill sets and together can speak 8 different languages.
VooiageFisio is their first product, which is an all-in-one Virtual Reality software platform for physiotherapists to manage patients recovery efficiently and increase their motivation. The product features interactive gamified VR modules, making the therapy immersive & entertaining and data analytics to evaluate patients recovery progress. The product is in the working prototype stage, which is being tested with physiotherapists and patients.

Marta Barrachina, ADmit Therapeutics
ADmit Therapeutics, S.L. is a spin-off from the Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBELL), and focused on the development and commercialization of a novel Alzheimer’s disease (AD) early detection technology. Their mission is to establish an early diagnosis of AD in the clinical practice. Their vision is to contribute to the reduction in the prevalence of AD patients estimated for the next decades, optimizing patients' recruitment in clinical trials performed by pharmaceutical companies.
Their diagnostic test represents the determination of biomarkers non-related with β-amyloid nor tau. Therefore, as a unique value proposition their test is based on an epigenetic analysis in blood samples, covering the analysis of a large number of methylcytosines in mtDNA by next-generation sequencing.
It is envisioned that ADmit Therapeutics will develop a new laboratory-based IVD device, obtaining the corresponding CE mark in 2022.
